Cemeteries and churchyards

Newark and Sherwood District Council is responsible for two open cemeteries, one at Lowdham and another at Walesby.

We are also responsible for the maintenance of five closed churchyards at Upton, Ossington, Egmanton, Edwinstowe and Blidworth.
