Paying by telephone
You can pay over the phone using a credit or debit card. Please call 01636 650000 and choose the option for our 24 hour automated payment line.
Please make sure that you have ready:
- your debit card
- your invoice account number
- the amount you wish to pay
- a pen to record the transaction number

I am having difficulty paying. Can I make an arrangement?
If you are having difficulty paying your invoice by the due date, please contact the Housing Benefit Overpayments office, on 01636 655375
A number of local and national advice services may also be able to help with financial issues.
If you disagree with the invoice or it is not clear why it has been sent to you, please contact Housing Benefit Overpayments office immediately, either by telephone on 01636 655375, or in writing.
It is important that you get in touch straight away if you have a query on the invoice or dispute it in any way. If you don’t tell us that there is a problem with the invoice, recovery action will continue which may result in County Court action or the passing on of your account to debt collectors.
