A new telephone service for submitting building regulation applications is now available!

To quote one of our customers "it couldn’t be easier". This new facility enables you to submit applications over the telephone without forms or paperwork.

If you wish to take advantage of this service please contact Building Control or Technical Support on 01636 650000.  Details of your proposed work will be submitted without delay and payment received by debit or credit card at no extra cost or if you prefer we would invoice the applicant.

Site work can then commence within 48 hours of acceptance.

Electronic Applications – The Fast and Efficient Option

Submit-a-Plan.com is the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) portal that enables anyone, with access to the web, to submit applications electronically to Local Authorities across the country free of charge.

It is fast and efficient option compared to printing and posting and will help to reduce your carbon footprint.

Electronic Application Submissions

If you or your agent prepare drawings using a CAD based system you can now submit these applications to us electronically. 

Please submit your building control applications, with attachments to bcsupport@nsdc.info  

FREE pre-application / enquiry service and submissions without initial charge

We have introduced a free pre application advice / enquiry service. This enables us to offer building regulations advice while planning applications are being considered or where early guidance is required.

Enquiries are registered without charge and may be formally deposited, if applicable, once site work commences.  Payment for the building control service will then be requested.

To arrange a consultation simply complete our Building Regulation Application Form.

Building regulation applications may be submitted initially without charge with the applicant invoiced for the agreed charge at a later date.
