Cemeteries and crematoria

Newark and Sherwood District Council does not manage any cemeteries or crematoria.

Cemeteries are usually managed by your local town/parish council. You will need to contact them to discuss any issues.

The only crematorium in Newark and Sherwood - Sherwood Forest Crematorium in Ollerton - is privately owned. The facility, which opened in 2005, is situated at Newark Road, New Ollerton, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG22 0DY. Tel: 01623 860500.
