Get out and about in the fresh air!

If you are in need of a breath of fresh air and an energising walk in the countryside during the Easter holidays take a stroll around one of our local country parks.

The Woodland Trust's Nature Detectives website offers lots of ideas for pulling on your wellies, rolling up your sleeves and getting outside. You can have fun with boredom-busting spring-time holiday activities, find out about nature's signs of spring, make the most of local woods, look for animal tracks, explore, smell and splash around your local park.

Other country parks and gardens to visit locally include:

Whats on this Easter?
