Sports club accreditation
Club accreditation is designed to guarantee a level of quality and consistency for club members and those who run the club.
Accreditation helps clubs develop through planning, and by making sure that procedures are in place to cover all eventualities. Club accreditation allows parents to easily recognise quality clubs, whatever the sport.
There are a number of different organisations which award club accreditation. The most popular accreditation is the Sport England 'Clubmark'. Clubmark is a cross-sport quality accreditation for clubs with junior sections.
Newark and Sherwood has a high number of accredited sports clubs. You can see these clubs through the clubmark database.
