Communities, groups and clubs can organise events to celebrate the occasion and support is available to provide advice and guidance including health and safety. Please get in touch if you would like to hold an event.

Organisers of community events are encouraged to complete the form giving details of the event in order that appropriate support from Nottinghamshire Police and other agencies can be identified.

Grants are available to constituted groups and organisations for events and projects. They must contribute towards raising participation in sport and also meeting the Olympic and Paralympic values. More information on the Special Events and Projects fund is available on our Sports Funding pages.

There are guidelines on the logos and branding you can use to promote your events and projects and these are available to view on the London 2012 website along with some Frequently Asked Questions about what you can and can't do and what the Olympic organiser's rights are when protecting the brand.
