Newark and District Young Archaeologists Club

Newark and District Young Archaeologists Club is a club for 8–16 year olds with a genuine interest in history and archaeology.

The club has monthly meetings at Newark Millgate Museum, to learn about and have fun with archaeology.

In the past the club has

  • reconstructed pots
  • built a model of Stonehenge
  • had a go at cave painting
  • taken part in a Viking Saga
  • built a replica Iron Age hut and much more!

Membership information

Membership is just £1 plus 6 x 2nd class stamps.

Sessions are charged at cost (usually £2).
