Youth Theatre

New Youth Theatre is passionate about musicals and the Performing Arts. We should be, having been established for over ten years!

Annie, Hairspray, Fame, Bugsy Malone, Guys and Dolls and High School Musical are some of the exciting performances that your child could take part in.

In June, we will be taking to the stage at The Palace Theatre, Newark, with our production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, a really magical show.

Each term, we have a number of performances, and children can join our weekly term time drama classes and rehearse for the current show and develop dancing, singing and acting skills. Lots of fun, with the opportunity to make new friends and do something different!

All classes are taught by experienced professional facilitators who have real experience in the performing arts.

At the end of every term, all the children get the chance to perform onstage at The Palace Theatre, Newark with the general public, parents and other relatives, and friends as the audience.

This summer, we're running a week's camp with rehearsals from Monday, 23 July to Friday, 27 July from 10am to 4pm, and a costumed performance of Tne Lion King on stage at The Palace Theatre between 3pm and 3.30pm on Friday, 27 July. Find out more here.

At New Youth Theatre, we bring musical theatre to local communities and have given thousands of young people across the region the unique experience of being onstage. We cater for children and young people from three to 16 years of age.
