On-Street Parking Permits

If you live in a street where an on-street residents' car parking permit scheme is in operation, you'll need to apply to Nottinghamshire County Council for a permit.

You can do this on-line or by calling the county council's customer service centre on 0300 500 80 80.

Car Park Permits and Season Tickets

You can save money when regularly parking in council owned car parks with a parking season ticket. Season tickets can be used 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday.

Pale blue season ticket – available for London Road car park, Livestock Market car park, Riverside Arena and Tolney Lane car park, at £640 per annum (equates to £1.50 a day) including VAT.

Black season ticket - available for Tolney Lane, Riverside Arena and Livestock Market car parks only at £420 per annum including VAT.

Dark blue season ticket - available for Castle Station Car Park at £420 per annum including VAT.

Contract parking

We operate two contract car parks in Newark, one at the rear of Newark Palace Theatre in Appletongate and the other next to Newark Town Club in Barnbygate.

The Palace Theatre contract car park has 9 spaces and Barnbygate contract car park has 23 spaces.

A contract parking space guarantees a space 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Quarterly contract permits currently cost £200 per quarter including VAT.
