HOW TO BOOK

In person :  MasterCard/Visa/Maestro cards accepted - for all credit card bookings, add 50p per transaction.

By telephone : 01636 655755 Tickets paid for by credit card will incur a 50p fee per transaction and, if required, will be mailed to you by return at an additional charge of 50p.

Online : Tickets for the majority of our shows can now be booked on-line with a maximum purchase of 10 tickets per transaction. There is a booking fee of £1.50 per ticket for purchases made online.

By post : Send details of the time, date and price of your chosen show with an s.a.e. (or add 50p postage) to The Box Office, Palace Theatre, Appletongate, Newark NG24 1JY.

Reservations  : Reserved seats must be paid for within three working days. We cannot guarantee to hold reserved seats beyond this time. Tickets for cinema screenings can be bought in advance but please note that seating is unallocated.

Discounts : Where available, discount prices may apply to children, full-time students, senior citizens, registered unemployed, disabled people and Friends of the Palace. Please note that not all discounts apply to all shows. All children must hold a valid ticket. Babies under 12 months go free, but must hold a valid ticket. From time to time, ticket discounts become available as part of a promotional offer. Customers who have already purchased tickets before a promotion will not be able to claim subsequent discounts.

Group Bookings : Discounts are sometimes available for group bookings, such as 1 in 10 free. For children's shows and pantomime, family tickets are often available.

Conditions of Sale are printed on the tickets. A full version of the Terms and Conditions is available from the Box Office.

Data Protection Act : The Palace Theatre is committed to upholding the Data Protection principles of good handling practice. When processing your booking, Box Office staff will ask for your name, address and telephone number. This information may be used to keep you informed of forthcoming events and notify you of any changes to an event for which you may have booked at the Palace. We will not forward any personal details to any other organisation.
