General retail Markets are held in Southwell  market place on

Thursdays and Saturdays.

The bustling Saturday market in Southwell is extremely popular with both locals and visitors. Regular stall holders include sewing and haberdashery, fruit and vegetables, pet foods, cut flowers and garden plants, health foods, local fish, cakes and organic goods, cheese and dairy products, household goods, clothes and shoes.

The small, friendly market offers great variety and as well as great value for money.

Farmers Markets are held in Southwell on the third thursday of every month. Here you will find an array of locally grown and freshly prepared foods and drink, including vegetables and fruit, jams, meat, honey, ice creams, dairy produce and home baked goods.
