Suitable for Council Tax, Housing Rents and Sundry Income
The service is provided by Girobank’s BillPay scheme on behalf of the Council. You do not need to hold a Girobank account. The service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
To use the service you will need a debit card. Credit cards are not accepted.

The on-line submission and payment of planning applications is now available from the Planning Portal.
Parking Fines can be paid on-line via the Nottinghamshire County Council website
Direct Debit
Suitable for Council Tax and Business Rates payments.
Setting up a direct debit is easy, simply contact either the Council Tax office (01636 655386) or Business Rates office (01636 655351) and supply your bank details and our staff will do the rest for you.

There are post boxes available at Kelham Hall (access from visitor car park) and Newark Town Hall Cash Office (situated off the Old Market Square between the National Westminster Bank and Newark Town Council Offices).

Suitable for Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefits and Sundry Income payments.
Transcash payments can be made at any Post Office. However the Post Office may charge for this service.
If you wish to make Council Tax payments at the Post Office you can do this free of charge using a Post Office Payments Card available from the Council Tax Office. Please call 01636 655386 and ask for Council Tax for this service.
