Notfast Running Club

CLUB HISTORY

The club was founded in 1986, during the boom years of running, with veterans in mind. The name of the club NOTFAST Newark Over Thirty Fives And Still Trying embodies the spirit of the club.

Participation is the key. Many who have joined the club have surpassed themselves and gone on to run competitively. Many who have run competitively now run or walk for pleasure. Many members have gone on to run and raise money for a host of local and national charities.

The club is affiliated to all the major athletics bodies, including the 3A’s of England, Notts 3A’s as well as The Long Distance Walking Association. We receive all relevant information about the sport and changes that are taking place.
