Education and Outreach

Newark  and Sherwood Museum Service has an interesting, vibrant and fun Education and Outreach Service which is run from Newark Millgate Museum. The service has a variety of activities for all ages from 5 to 100. There is a wide range of collections based learning available to everyone through our discovery boxes,  friendly and informative workshops and themed interpreters and activities, we also offer a wide range of fascinating tours and we are always out and about throughout the whole of the Newark and Sherwood district with our ever popular and fun Outreach Service.

Education and Outreach forms just one part of a whole range of services offered by our museums; if it's exciting temporary exhibitions your after have a look at the Mezzanine Gallery and there is something for everyone in our permanent exhibitions.
