The council’s housing management organisation, Newark and Sherwood Homes, has a good relationship with its TRAs and representatives.

Newark and Sherwood District Federation of Tenants' and Residents' Associations is the umbrella group that looks after the interests of these associations. The Federation will also be able to give you contact details for tenants and residents associations across the district.

The federation helps residents with any issues they might have and is a monitoring body, looking at how Newark and Sherwood Homes works throughout the area. If there is an upcoming issue which will affect tenants, the federation helps to inform tenants through leaflets and events such as road shows.

At the Federation office the Community Resource Centre provides low cost photocopying, internet use, typing etc. for the community, as well as a selection of Government leaflets on a range of topics which are free.
