A car-free day out

The Sherwood Arrow is a Stagecoach bus service that takes you from Nottingham to Worksop passing many of the local attractions en route.

With the Explorer Day ticket which gives unlimited travel on the day of purchase, this bus service is a great way to see the sights and help the environment at the same time. So why not leave your car behind for the day and try one of the itineraries below.

A good starting point for your car-free day out is the bus stop outside the Hop Pole Hotel in Ollerton Village. If you need your car to get to that point, you can leave it in the free car park by the Sherwood Tourist Information Centre. It is then just a short walk alongside the bus lane, besides McDonalds, to get the bus stop. Please note, cars left in the car park are done so entirely at the owner's risk.

For more information on the places to visit and opening times, please visit their websites or contact the Sherwood Tourist Information Centre.

Browse the county council's public transport pages for details on other bus services and public transport throughout the district.
