On-line Payments

Our online payments service is provided by Civicapay on behalf of the council. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

What services can I pay for on-line?

You can pay on-line for:

  • Council Tax
  • Business Rates
  • Housing rent
  • Sundry Payments (includes Lifeline payments, pest control invoices, parking permits, commercial waste, re-chargeable works and housing benefit overpayments)

To use the service you will need a debit card or credit card.

Paying by telephone

You can pay over the phone using a debit or credit card.  Please call our 24 hour telephone payments line on 01636 655978.

What services can I pay for by telephone?

You can pay on-line for:

Planning applications

The on-line submission and payment of planning applications is now available from the Planning Portal.

Parking fines

Parking fines or Penalty Charge Notices can be paid on-line via the Nottinghamshire County Council website.

Paying by Direct Debit

Paying by Direct Debit helps us keep our collection costs down, which helps us keep your bills lower.

You can pay for the following by direct debit

Setting up a Direct Debit is easy. Simply telephone 01636 650000 to supply your bank details and our staff will do the rest for you. We also offer a choice in the days we will collect your payment.

Alternatively, you can download a Direct Debit form which you can return with your payment details.
