We are open seven days a week excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

We are open from 10am until 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

• 1 October to 31 March open from 10 am until 4pm
• 1 April to 30 September open from 10am until 5pm

Whether you're planning to visit Newark, Southwell or any parts of the district, we can help you plan and enjoy your stay with our extensive range of original souvenirs, local interest books, guidebooks, maps and postcards. Our souvenirs and books can also be bought by mail, email or over the phone. We also sell Theatre Tokens, which are accepted at over 240 theatres nationwide, including Newark Palace Theatre.

Newark has a host of exciting attractions for visitors including museums, Newark Castle, a market and Palace Theatre Newark, as well as interesting walks and Civil War trails so you can really get a feel of the historical significance of our picturesque town.

We are open from 10am until 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Visit our friendly and helpful staff at the Sherwood Tourist Information Centre for all the information you need when visiting Sherwood Forest, the Dukeries and the surrounding area.

We have an array of Robin Hood-themed merchandise and we can also provide lots of information on local attractions, accommodation, places to stay and eat. We can also suggest routes for Robin Hood tours and trails.
