Areas of Development

Following a major consultation on potential sites for development in Newark and Sherwood, four new sites have been put forward by local landowners. You can give your views on the new sites.

The new sites are:

  • Public open space off Lincoln Road/Cedar Avenue, Newark - suggested use housing and open space, including 24 dwellings
  • Land off North Gate, Newark - suggested use retail
  • Land east of Newlinc Business Park (Currys/DSG Distribution Centre), Winthorpe/Coddington - suggested use distribution, approximately 48 hectares
  • Land at Crew Lane / Fiskerton Road, Southwell - suggested use housing and employment, approximately 15 hectares

The consultation opens on Tuesday 20th March and runs until 5.15pm on May 1st 2012.

Gilstrap Centre consultation
