For instance, if the information you want was produced on a particular date, please provide this date. Please be as precise as possible, as this will help us to provide the information that you want. We may contact you for further information if your request is not clear.

Proof of Identity

If your request is for personal information we will have to confirm your identity before we can release the information. Any application for personal information MUST include an original valid document or countersigned copies of two separate official documents which between them show clearly your name and address.

Examples of such documents are: Birth/Adoption certificate, driving license, medical card or passport. Copies of documents should be validated by being signed by someone of standing, for example, a doctor, local councillor, solicitor, minister of religion or other person of similar standing.

Data Protection

Any information that is voluntarily submitted through our on-line forms will only be used for the purpose or purposes for which it was intended.
All information will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Costs
A standard charge of £10 is made for all requests for personal information, this charge may be waived at the authority's discretion.

All other requests for information will be charged as per the charging scale as laid out in the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of this charging scale can be made available on request. More information
