You can access our Contracts Register 2013 (PDF File, 318kb) to locate information about existing council contracts, including contracts let through a framework agreement set up by a consortium of local authorities or one of the public sector buying organisations such as the Government Procurement Service or the Pro5 network.

Contract data is subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

Finding our Tenders

We do not maintain an approved suppliers list but advertise and tender work as and when contracts are due to expire, or when new requirements arise.

All council tenders are advertised on the Source Nottinghamshire web portal.  Tender opportunities posted by other public sector bodies across the East Midlands region can be accessed via the Source East Midlands web portal.

We are required to advertise tenders in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) if the total value of the contract opportunity exceeds the relevant OJEU threshold, but these tenders will also be posted on the Source Nottinghamshire web portal.  

You can register free-of-charge with the above websites for e-mail alerts in order to receive contract opportunities tailored to your specific business interests.

All Central Government contracts over £10,000 must now be advertised on Contracts Finder. This website is part of the coalition government’s ongoing transparency initiative aimed at making it easier for businesses to find and apply for public sector contracts.

Free public procurement course for businesses

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) launched an online procurement course Winning the Contract for businesses wanting to secure public sector contracts. This is a FREE resource to help businesses (and in particular SMEs) learn about public procurement and how to bid for public sector contracts.

The course provides an introduction to the public sector, explains the procurement process and offers practical advice to help you identify new business opportunities.
