Conservation area appraisals

A conservation area appraisal is an assessment of the special interest, character and appearance of a conservation area. It is used as the basis for making decisions about future development and for formulating policies for the preservation and enhancement of the area.

The Conservation group is currently looking at all villages in the district with a view to undertaking appraisals, including the designation of more conservation areas.

The following appraisals have been undertaken. Not all are available for you to download at present, therefore please contact us if you need further information.
