Table tennis

Table tennis is a fast, fun sport which requires quick reactions. The sport involves 2 or 4 players hitting a lightweight ball back and forth over a net. The National Governing Body for table tennis is the English Table Tennis Association.

Nottingham Trent University has created an adapted version of table tennis for people with disabilities, called Polybat. In Polybat the table has side panels with no net. Players use a paddle shaped bat to push the ball along the surface of the table with the aim of hitting the ball past their opponent.
