Green Rewards is a free online platform that rewards you for taking simple everyday actions that help the environment.
By recording sustainable activities such as recycling, walking, cycling and reducing energy use and saving water, you can earn points, climb the leaderboard and be entered into prize draws.
You can access Green Rewards through the website or mobile app and start collecting points straight away.
How to earn points
You can earn Green Rewards points by completing a wide range of activities that help reduce carbon emissions and support a greener future.
Examples include:
- walking or cycling instead of driving
- using public transport
- recycling correctly
- reducing household energy use
- taking shorter showers
- eating more plant-based meals
- learning about sustainability through online resources
- improving the energy efficiency of your home
New activities and challenges are regularly added throughout the year, giving you more opportunities to earn points and reduce your environmental impact.
Rewards
As a Green Rewards member, you can benefit from a range of rewards.
Monthly prize draws
There will be two £20 vouchers that you can win each month:
- one voucher will go to the Newark and Sherwood resident who has earned the most Green Points each calendar month.
- one voucher will be awarded at random in a raffle. To enter the raffle, all you need to do is earn any amount of Green Points in that calendar month.
If you're a voucher winner you'll receive an email asking you to choose your voucher from the following options:
- £20 National Garden Gift voucher
- £20 National Book Token
- £20 Love2Shop voucher
- £20 ASDA voucher
- £20 Tesco voucher
In addition to the options listed, you could instead choose a month's bus pass for Nottingham City Transport buses, worth £70.
You can only win one voucher within any six month period.
