Newark and Sherwood District Council and Southwell Leisure Centre Trust are very pleased to announce that the mediation between them to resolve issues relating to the Southwell Leisure Centre lease has been successful.
A man has been sentenced to two months in prison for breaching an injunction that the District Council, in collaboration with Nottinghamshire Police, successfully secured in October last year.

Applications for the Our Past, Your Future fund are now open until 26 May 2025 to those aged 16 to 25 and living within Newark and Sherwood who are looking to pursue a career in the arts, whether performing, writing, directing or technical.
