A project to increase tree coverage in one of Newark and Sherwood’s least green areas is being supported by the District Council.

Newark and Sherwood District Council continued to reaffirm its commitment to the Yorke Drive Regeneration Scheme at its Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 10 December.

Last night, Newark and Sherwood District Council’s Cabinet voted to install the Kiddey Stones outside of Castle House on Great North Road in Newark.

At this week’s Cabinet meeting of Newark and Sherwood District Council, proposals were agreed for the future development of the Council’s Brunel Drive depot site, Farrar Close and the glass recycling facility at the Lorry Park.
