Two policies, Building Safety in the Home and Damp and Mould, approved by the District Council, will ensure the continued safety of tenants in their homes by providing a customer-centred approach.

At a meeting of its Cabinet on 19 December 2023, Newark and Sherwood District Council agreed to allocate £5.5million to develop a new swimming facility at Southwell leisure centre.
