We offers MOT testing to the general public at our council depot.
Tests are carried out by the mechanics who maintain the council’s fleet of vehicles
No repairs are carried out on site, so all you get is a completely independent assessment.

Fees and opening hours
We MOT test both petrol and diesel vehicles by appointment only at £45 per vehicle.
The depot is open for testing 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
