What food can and cannot go in my food waste caddy?

You can put the following in your food waste caddy:

• leftovers and plate scrapings
• fruit and vegetables
• meat and fish
• bones
• bread, rice and pasta
• dairy products
• egg shells
• tea bags
• coffee grounds
• cooked food
• uncooked food

Please do not put any of the following in your food waste caddy:

• packaging
• liquids such as milk
• oil
• any material that is not food

Can I put pet food in my food waste caddy?

Yes, you can put loose wet or dry pet food in your food waste caddy. Please remove the packaging beforehand.

Please don't put any pet waste in your food waste caddy. 

Can I put tea bags in my food waste caddy?

Yes, you can put any tea bags in your food waste caddy. You do not need to remove the string and tab.
