How to recycle and reuse furniture and electrical goods
Reuse is always better if possible, so before you book a collection please consider selling, or gifting your item.
There are a number of charities and organisations who might be interested in your second-hand furniture and electrical appliances, if they‘re in good, working condition.
These include:
- The British Heart Foundation – they accept donations of furniture
- Betel UK – will collect donations of furniture and white goods for sale in their charity shops
- Freecycle – an online swap shop
- The furniture project in Ollerton – always in need of quality usable items
