This summer, the stunning grounds of Newark Castle are set to transform into a stage for another spectacular season of fantastic outdoor theatre as the Palace Theatre takes its magic outside of its renowned building! With five diverse shows lined up from July through August, Newark Castle is once again set to become the venue for unforgettable theatre experiences, offering something for everyone!

Newark and Sherwood District Council is delighted to confirm that works are finally set to start at Ollerton Hall. A set of keys was handed over last week to Severns (Ollerton) Limited who will soon begin work to sympathetically restore and transform the hall into 8 apartments.

To mark Armed Forces Day this year, Newark hosted a military parade and event in the Royal Market and Town Hall. The event was kicked off by a performance from the RAF Cranwell Military Wives’ Choir which included a stunning rendition of “We’ll Meet Again” outside the Town Hall.
