The council is currently reviewing all aspects of the Newark Market operation to identify any efficiencies but also make any improvements to the market and maximise the potential of Newark Market Place, which can be used for events when stalls are cleared such as the annual Christmas lights switch-on and various other special occasions throughout the year.
