Work to bring full fibre connectivity within reach of almost every home and business in Newark gets underway as CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent full fibre platform, breaks ground on a new infrastructure rollout that will future-proof the town’s digital needs for generations to come.

Next week residents are invited to have their say on exciting plans for a new Castle-themed playground and Fitness Zone at Sconce and Devon Park.

Newark and Sherwood District Council partnered up with Nottinghamshire Police on Saturday to raise awareness about the dangers of Cocaethylene, as part of the Safer Streets scheme.

A fantastic programme of events for 2023 taking place in Newark Town Centre has been confirmed, promising a year of exciting events for residents and visitors alike to enjoy.

Visitors to Newark’s town centre will soon be taken back to the early 20th century as two Grade II listed buildings are to be transformed thanks to funding from Historic England and Newark and Sherwood District Council.
