The new Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) methodology was adopted in 2025.

We are preparing a new SHELAA to support the development of a new Local Plan.

As part of work on the new Local Plan, we are now undertaking a second call for sites consultation. This consultation will run until 30 July 2026.
