Sherwood Forest Art and Craft Centre and Cafe lies in the beautifully converted coach house and stables of the former Edwinstowe Hall. It is just a short walk from the famous Major Oak and RSPB Visitor Centre and Nature Reserve.
The atrium and courtyard house a variety of artists and craftspeople. Visitors can buy original and unique gifts directly from the craftspeople.
Their centre is home to a variety of unusual crafts including textiles, fossils and gemstones, paintings, coppersmith, candles, fabric crafts, paper crafts, hand crafted chocolate, handmade soap and jewellery.

Ursula in Unit 12 at our Sherwood Forest Arts and Craft Centre is wishing everyone a wonderful woolly Christmas this year with a fun event in November.
Granny Square Christmas Tree Sunday 3 November at 11am
Ursula and her knitting volunteers will be revealing the Big Granny Square Christmas Tree in the courtyard of the craft centre. You can take part in the charity competition "How many squares did we use to make the tree?" with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Society.
The tree has been created and lovingly decorated by crafting volunteers and is a tribute to all of the grannies and grandma’s that have had the time and patience to teach many of us how to knit or crochet.
The centre is also full of seasonal hand-made gifts that are completely unique and perfect for Christmas and the café is a popular retreat after a brisk walk in the nearby forest.
There are eleven studios enclosed by a glass foyer ensuring that your visit is unspoilt by the weather. In the courtyard outside there are five more studios with a small picnic area nearby.
The centre is a working art and craft centre with an extensive variety of arts and crafts where you can see craft workers putting the finishing touches to original gifts and products.
