The Met Office provides the weather forecasts for TV and radio.  It also issues severe weather warnings. Visit the Met Office website or Met Office Twitter for the latest updates.

Service disruptions

From time to time some of our services are disrupted. This may be down to severe weather or staffing issues. We always try to keep this to an absolute minimum.  Get the latest updates on the Council Twitter or Council Facebook page.

Roads and travel during bad weather

Nottinghamshire County Council is the local highways authority. You can report a flooded road or drainage problem online. If you think lives are endangered then call 999.
