If you’re disabled or an older person, grants and services are available to adapt your home to help make it safer and more easily accessible, whether you are a homeowner or a tenant.

If you are a council tenant, visit Adapting your council home for more information on work we can help with.

Disabled Facilities Grant

The Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) provides financial assistance to disabled people for things like stair lifts, replacing baths with showers, additional heating and works to improve accessibility.
