Collingham Neighbourhood Plan

Collingham Parish was designated as a neighbourhood area on 12 October 2020.

Collingham Parish Council have now submitted a Neighbourhood Plan (the Plan) proposal under Regulation 15 (1) of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The Plan identifies key issues relating to development for the community, sets out a vision and objectives for development in Collingham Parish and contains a range of policies to be used in the assessment of development proposals. If formally adopted, it will become part of the Development Plan for land use and development proposals within the Parish up to 2036.

This submission has met the requirements under Regulation 15, and so the District Council has now published the modified plan proposal for representation under Regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The Plan, accompanying documents and the SEA and HRA Screening Statements are available at the District Council Offices in Castle House, Newark Library, Collingham Library as well as on the Council’s website.

Representations can be made can be made using the Comments Form and in writing by email to planningpolicy@newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk or by post to Planning Policy and Infrastructure Business Unit, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, NG24 1BY.

Representations should be made by 5pm on Tuesday 1st September 2025.

Following this, the Plan, together with any representations received, will be submitted for independent examination.
