Residents across Newark and Sherwood are being encouraged to take simple, everyday actions to protect the environment as part of this year’s Great Big Green Week by becoming a local Green Champion.
Newark and Sherwood District Council and Ollerton and Boughton Town Council are celebrating a significant milestone in the transformation of Ollerton town centre, as planning permission has now been granted for the ambitious regeneration scheme.
Nominations for this year’s Newark and Sherwood Community and Sports Awards are now open – from Friday 29 May until Friday 3 July – so cast your votes!
