Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships with us provide you with an excellent opportunity to learn while in the workplace and gain a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.

Apprenticeship placements are usually for a temporary period of 12 to 15 months during which time you will benefit from training in your job role and develop a greater understanding of the Council and the services we offer.

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a permanent role at the end of the 12 months, but apprentices are encouraged to apply for any suitable vacancies that do arise during their time with us.

Applying for an apprenticeship

Vacancies for apprenticeship opportunities with us can come up at any time throughout the year. All our apprenticeship vacancies are advertised on the Jobs Go Public website and on GOV.UK's find an apprenticeship service.
