Volunteering in sport (VISPA)

VISPA (Volunteering in Sport and Physical Activity) is a volunteer scheme dedicated to sports volunteering.

It enables volunteers to earn points, rewards and recognition for volunteering in Newark and Sherwood. With the Olympic legacy providing a welcome boost for sport, there has never been a better time to be a sports volunteer.

As a member of the VISPA Youth Forum you would play an active part in developing new ideas and opportunities across Newark and Sherwood. The benefits to being part of this group would include gaining experience in developing a project which has a huge positive impact on the community and having the opportunity put forward your ideas for VISPA. Being part of the VISPA Youth Forum would also provide an invaluable addition to your CV as well as continuing to collect your VISPA points.

Each member of the group would be expected to attend the Youth Forum meetings and act as an ambassador for VISPA in the community, both encouraging volunteering as a whole as well as promoting the VISPA scheme.
