We want to make payment for the goods or services we provide as easy and flexible as possible, as well as helping to reduce the cost to you.

What services can I pay for online?

You can pay for the following things online:

• council tax
• business rates
• housing rent
• garden waste 
• bulky waste collection 
• benefit overpayments
• invoice payments (includes, pest control invoices, parking permits, trade waste)
• planning payments (includes pre-application advice, planning applications, decisions, policy documents, discharge of conditions)
• licences 
• change to your address e.g. adding a name to your house.
• Local Land searches - Con29
• fixed penalty notices (issued by Newark and Sherwood District Council)

Our online payments service is provided by Civicapay, on behalf of the council.

To use the service you will need a debit or credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard cards only. We do not accept American Express.
