THIS week, Newark and Sherwood District Council approved the introduction of a new kerbside glass recycling service across the district. This decision follows a public survey, launched five weeks ago, which saw almost 93% of respondents wanting to see the new service.  This represents more than 10 per cent of households in the district which is considered very high for any survey issued by any organisation.
